Ob Ihr Produkt auch diese Inhaltsstoffe enth\u00e4lt, k\u00f6nnen Sie auf der Liste der Inhaltsstoffe, auch INCI genannt, sehen. Ich bin mir jedoch bewusst, dass sie f\u00fcr viele ein Buch mit sieben Siegeln ist. Es gibt jedoch Hilfe! Wenn Sie wissen m\u00f6chten, wie viele Schadstoffe Ihr Produkt enth\u00e4lt, k\u00f6nnen Sie <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ewg.org\/skindeep\/\" class=\"broken_link\">die Datenbank von<\/a> \u201eSkin Deep\u201c <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ewg.org\/skindeep\/\" class=\"broken_link\">zurate ziehen<\/a>. Das ist eine bemerkenswerte (amerikanische) Datenbank mit mehr als 50.000 Produkten! Gigantisch! Bei jedem Produkt ist auf Skin Deep mit einer Skala von 0 bis 10 angegeben, ob es Schadstoffe enth\u00e4lt. Man kann nach Marke oder Produkt suchen. Wenn ein Produkt mit einer 7 (high hazard) oder h\u00f6her bewertet wird, w\u00fcrde ich mich fragen, ob ich das Produkt wirklich (weiterhin) benutzen m\u00f6chte.<\/p>\n<h3>Warum Skin Deep?<\/h3>\n<p>Der Grund, aus dem diese Datenbank Skin Deep ins Leben gerufen wurde, ist folgender: \u201cCompanies are allowed to use almost any ingredient they wish, and our government doesn\u2019t require companies to test products for safety before they\u2019re sold.\u201d<br \/>\nUm uns zu sch\u00fctzen, wurde eine Liste mit Inhaltsstoffen erstellt, die nicht oder nur in geringen Mengen in Kosmetik verwendet werden d\u00fcrfen. Ein Problem ist, dass diese Liste noch lange nicht vollst\u00e4ndig ist. In den USA sind beispielsweise 89 Prozent der Inhaltsstoffe noch nicht hinsichtlich ihrer Sicherheit beurteilt worden! Gl\u00fccklicherweise sind die Regeln in Europa viel strenger als in den USA.<br \/>\nOb ein Produkt auch wirksame Stoffe enth\u00e4lt, wie beispielsweise Niacinamid oder bestimmte Antioxidantien steht nicht in dieser Datenbank. Es geht also nur um die Produktsicherheit.
